Navigating the Web3 space requires vigilance. The Security tab in your settings provides a comprehensive suite of tools to fortify your account
1. Your Security Score
At the top of your security dashboard, you will find a dynamic Security Score ranging from 0% to 100%. This visual indicator helps you understand your current protection level at a glance:
🔴 Low Security: Immediate action required
🟡 High Security: Good protection, but room for improvement
🟢 Maximum Security: Your account is fully fortified
How to reach 100%:
Base Score: 50% (Standard account)
Telegram 2FA: +5%
Email 2FA: +5%
Connected Wallets: +10%
Anti-Phishing Code: +5%
Seed Phrase Backup: +30%
2. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Double your defense by requiring more than just a password to access your account
Email 2FA: Receive a unique 6-digit code for every login attempt. To prevent abuse, requests are limited to one per hour during active switching
Telegram 2FA: Connect your Telegram ID to receive instant security alerts and authentication prompts directly through our official bot
3. Anti-Phishing Code
Phishing is a common threat where scammers impersonate official staff. To protect yourself:
Set a unique Secret Word in your settings
This word will appear in the header of every official FanCup email
If an email claiming to be from us is missing your code, it is a scam
4. Access Credentials
Password Management: You can change your password at any time. For maximum safety, use at least 6 characters, including a mix of letters and numbers
Rate Limiting: Our system automatically triggers cooldowns (60 seconds) after failed attempts or repeated requests to block brute-force attacks
5. Backup Seed Phrase
The ultimate key to your account. We provide a 12-word Seed Phrase that acts as your master recovery key
Visibility Control: Your phrase is blurred by default. Use the Show/Hide buttons to view it privately
Pro-Tip: Never take a screenshot or store your phrase in the cloud. Write it down on paper and keep it in a safe, physical location
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: FanCup staff will NEVER ask for your password, 2FA codes, or Seed Phrase. If someone asks for these, they are attempting to steal your assets. Report them to @FanCupSupport immediately
